Terms & Conditions

  1. Definitions: “Company” refers to DiveCo Marine Ltd trading as DiveCo RIB Charter. “Charterer” refers to any individual or group who books or participates in a charter. “Vessel” refers to the Falcon 760 Rigid Inflatable Boat or any substitute vessel provided by the Company.
  2. Booking and Payment: A deposit of 25% is required to secure a booking, with the balance due no later than 14 days prior to departure.
  3. Cancellations: If the Charterer cancels more than 14 days before the charter, the deposit is refundable minus a £50 administration fee. If the Charterer cancels within 14 days, no refund will be issued unless the Company resells the date.
  4. Weather and Safety: All charters are subject to favourable weather and sea conditions. The Skipper has absolute authority to vary the itinerary or terminate the charter for safety reasons.
  5. Passenger Conduct: The Charterer is responsible for ensuring all passengers are fit to participate and are free from the influence of alcohol or drugs. Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
  6. Liability: The Company holds third-party liability insurance in accordance with UK maritime law. Participation carries inherent risks due to high-speed craft and sea conditions which the Charterer accepts.
  7. Compliance and Certification: The Vessel is MCA coded to Category 4 with endorsement for Category 3R operations up to 20 miles from a safe haven and maximum 7 passengers. The Company operates in compliance with MCA Small Commercial Vessel Code (MGN 280).
  8. Force Majeure: The Company shall not be liable for delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
  9. Jurisdiction: These Terms shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
